Materials needed:
 • Kreinik Fine #8 Braid in 001HL Silver Hi Lustre, 202HL Aztec Gold
 • 14-count soft white perforated paper and gold perforated paper
 • DMC embroidery floss in 310 Black, 321 Christmas Red, 700 Christmas Green, 754 Peach Flesh
 • Beacon™ Fabri-Tac™ Permanent Adhesive
 • 1" gold pin back
 • scissors
 • #24 Tapestry needle

Instructions:
 Each square on the chart equals one fabric thread.

 1. Center and stitch angel with Christmas tree on 3" x 3" square of 14-count white perforated paper following the color key.
 • Use two strands for cross stitching in colors indicated. Add Christmas Green back and half cross stitches in directions indicated for trim on bottom of dress.
 • Using one strand of 001HL Fine Braid, add cross stitches for crown on angel. Add wings in back and half cross stitches, in directions indicated.
 • Using one strand of 202HL Fine Braid, add cross stitches for trim on collar and cuffs of dress, ornaments and stand on tree. Add back stitches for details on top center of angel's dress and to center of green trim at bottom of dress.
 • Using one strand of black embroidery floss, work back stitches to outline and for facial features.

 2. Using scissors, trim around edges of stitched angel, leaving a one square border of perforated paper all around.
 • Glue wrong stitched side of 14-count soft white perforated paper to white side of matching 14-count gold perforated paper. Trim edges to match stitched piece when dry.
 • Glue 1" pin back to center of back of pin. Let dry.
