Tapestry #12 Braid

Use Tapestry (#12) Braid in Cross Stitch (11ct), Needlepoint (18-30ct), Crochet, as a companion yarn for Knitting designs, and for embellishments in Scrapbooking & Card Making. In fly fishing, it adds a little weight to bodies and heads without adding too much bulk.

Due to the COVID pandemic, production is limited. If a color isn't listed below, it is not being produced at the moment (this is just temporary). What can you do if you are in desperate need of a color that we aren’t producing right now? There are several solutions:

  • Many retailers have stock of these “odd” colors, so search online, or contact us for names of shops that do mail order.
  • Join one of the needlework or fly fishing groups on Facebook, Reddit, or other social media, and ask if someone has the color you need. Many people are willing to trade, sell or give. There are also retailers in these groups who may see the post.

AUGUST 2021 NEWS

High demand for product combined with supply, production, and staffing ramifications of the pandemic means that it is taking longer than normal to get your Kreinik orders. IN MOST CASES, IT IS TAKING UP TO 10 WEEKS TO FILL ORDERS We make our threads, and also rely on outside sources for things like packaging and raw materials. Every step of the manufacturing process has been affected by the pandemic, even shipping has seen incredible delays. We apologize for the frustration and inconvenience, and are doing everything we can to improve the situation.  

To speed up production of the most in-demand colors, we are only making the top 60 to 80 colors in Kreinik #4, #8, and #12 Braid lines. The colors in production can be found on those individual thread pages on our website. This is a temporary situation; we will go back to producing 200+ colors per Braid size when we are able. 

We cannot do rush orders at this time.
