There is a simplebeauty in stitching with Silk Mori and Silk Serica and in looking at yourfinished needlework made with the silks. This is especially evident in thisHardanger ornament using colors Soft White, Dark Holly, Dark Christmas Red, andVery Dark Straw. Use Silk Serica for the Kloster blocks and Mori for theneedleweaving. Seize some time for yourself to relax and enjoy the softness ofthe threads working through your fingers as you stitch this holiday ornament foryour tree (or for a special friend's tree).

Materials needed:

• Kreinik Silk Serica® in 1116 Dark Christmas Red, 4066 Dark Holly, and 8000 Soft White
• Kreinik Silk Mori® (2.5m skein of each) in 7087 Very Dark Straw and 8000 Soft White
• 9" x 9" piece of 28-count white linen
