- Experiment with two or more of the 250+ Kreinik Fine #8 Braid colors to start...go up a Braid size if you want it thicker.
- You can also combine silk or cotton with metallic threads for added texture (try Kreinik Silk Floss)
- Instructions included for making the "candy cane" style which will give you the segmented body look, but you can also do a "herringbone" style for a feather-like pattern (it's all in the instructions)
