Komas are square-ended wooden spools used when couching fibers onto a design surface. Wind the fiber around the Komas, which will sit on your work (and not roll off), keeping the proper tension as you couch. One package contains a set of two.
Komas are square-ended wooden spools used to maintain tension with gold and silver threads. These are traditionally used in Oriental embroidery and other areas for couching threads. Komas are ideally used with Kreinik Japan Thread #5 & #7 but you can wind any thread on them, any thread you are couching onto a design. One package contains a set of two.
