Gold Reflections Ornament

This simple-yet-stunning design features real metal and metallic threads. What's the difference? Metallics are synthetic versions, while real metal contains actual gold or silver. This project—one from the Classic Kreinik Archives—is a great way to practice using both.
Materials needed:
- 22-count White Linen Hardanger Fabric (by Zweigart)
- Two sizes of small gold beads: eight larger, 16 smaller
- Kreinik Fine #8 Braid 002 Gold
- Kreinik Blending Filament 045 Confetti Gold
- Kreinik Cord 002C Gold
- Kreinik #8 Jaceron real metal thread in gold (1-meter length) — if out of stock, you can use #5 Jaceron
- Kreinik Paillettes in gold: one of size #12; fourteen of size #14 (if size #14 is out of stock, use #12)
- White sewing thread
- #24 Tapestry needle and a beading needle
