Iron-on Star Photo Mat

Materials needed:

• Kreinik Iron-on ribbon in 6020 Silver

• Kreinik Teflon Press Cloth

• Mini iron or household iron

• star rubber stamps in different sizes

• silver ink pad

• blue picture frame mat board

• silver star charm

Instructions:

1. Turn your iron onto the highest heat setting and let it heat thoroughly.

2. Meanwhile, stamp star images onto your blue mat using the silver stamp pad. Let dry.

3. String the star charm onto your iron-on ribbon and let it hang loosely while you work step #4.

4. Create a large silver ribbon star in one corner (if needed, hand-draw a star shape to follow, or follow the lines of a large rubber-stamped star): Lay your iron-on ribbon at a starting point in one corner, and press with the iron for several seconds until the thread adheres. Continue working your design in sections.

5. With the iron-on ribbon, make an outline around the center of the blue mat area, bringing your charm to the center of one side. Iron the thread securely around the charm to make it hang appropriately.

6. Cut several pieces of silver ribbon, hold together at one end, and iron this end right next to the large iron-on-ribbon star.
