Ice Cream Social Tag

Materials needed:
• white cardstock tag
• white cardstock same size as your tag
• textured teal paper (FiberMark), cut 1/4” smaller than your white cardstocktag
• black & gold printed paper (from specialty mat stacks by Designs witha View), cut 1/2” smaller than your teal paper
• Mrs. K’s Iron-On Fine #8 Braid: 6225
• Ice cream rubber stamp (Sweet Treats by Stampin Up)
• Black ink pad
• Teflon Press Cloth
• Mini Iron or household iron
• glue stick or Treasure Tape 3/4” roll

Instructions:
1. Turn your iron onto the highest heat setting and let it heat thoroughly.

2. Stamp the ice cream image onto the white cardstock.

3. Iron the gold Iron-on Braid onto your stamped image, covering the lines.To do this, lay your thread at a starting point, cover with a Teflon PressCloth, and press with your hot iron for a few seconds until the thread adheres.Continue in this way, working your design in sections. (TIP: we use a CloverMini Iron, and wrapped a 3” x 4” Teflon Press Cloth around the foot. Securewith thread or string, and you have a Teflon-covered foot.)

4. Cut out the embellished stamped image as shown in the photo.

5.  Using a glue stick or the double-sided Treasure Tape, adhere theteal paper centered on your white cardstock. Place the decorative black paperin the center, then attach the decorated ice cream image on top.
 

6. Use pieces of leftover Braid to make a tassel, if desired.
