This Appetizer is Quick , Easy and always a Favorite !

Ingredients: 1 package of Crescent Rolls, 12 slices of Bacon

Remove dough from package. Take 2 triangles and press the seams together to make a rectangle.  Lay bacon lengthwise on dough, probably 3 slices.  Roll in a jelly roll fashion. Wrap in plastic wrap and place in freezer until firm.  Slice into ¼”  to ½”  wide pieces. Place on a baking sheet and cook in a 350 degree oven til brown.  Serve warm. These can be cooked ahead of time; frozen , then re-heated

Materials needed:

• 28-count Ice Blue Cashel Linen by Zweigart
• Kreinik Very Fine #4 Braid 021 Pearl and 051HL Sapphire
• Anchor Floss in colors 01, 212, 1006
• Just Another Button Company Small Primitive Snowman 4485S
• Tiny Brass Star Charm 12056BR (By Jupiter)
• Medium Heart Charm MHCC2 by Wichelt Imports
• #24 Tapestry needle

Instructions:

1. Cross stitch according to the main graph and color key. When using the Very Fine #4 Braid, stitch with it just as it comes off the spool, do not separate.
2. The pompom on the end of the snowman’s hat is a colonial or French knot using 4 strands of Anchor 01 floss.
3. Words are backstitched with Very Fine #4 Braid 051HL.
4. Attach the snowman button and star charm where indicated. Follow instructions on Medium Heart charm for finishing. Cording was made with Anchor floss 148 and #4 Braid 051HL.
