Materials needed for card #1:

Sage Green cardstock
Glisten/Avalanche paper from Fruitcake by Basic Grey
Stars, Jolees by You Gold/Brown Stars
Kreinik Metallic Threads in these colors: 1/8" Ribbon 6355 Wintergreen, #16 Braid 6010 Pearl, #8 Braid 6220 Filigree
Tools: scissors, iron, Teflon Presscloth

Instructions:

First turn on your iron to its highest setting and allow it to heat up. Cut one piece of green cardstock for your card base. Cut a square of Glisten paper 1 smaller than your card back.
Attach the Glisten paper to your cardstock. Using your iron, outline the paper with Wintergreen ribbon. (Tip: start in the middle of the bottom side, so all your corners have matching bevels) Add a second border of Pearl braid around the outside. Gently position your stars around the card. Use the Filigree braid to create a wavy line around your card, running beneath each star so they look strung on the thread. Finish your card by adding a wavy border around the outside edge of the cardstock.

Sage Green cardstock
Snowed In/Wintermint paper from Fruitcake by Basic Grey
Gold Striped Cardstock, Strathmore Pure Paper
Stars, Jolees by You Silver/Gold Stars
Kreinik Metallic Threads in these colors: 1/8" Ribbon 6230 Burnished Gold, #16 Braid 6300 Meadow, 6020 Silver
Fiskars Paper Edgers, Wide Scallop
Tools: scissors, iron, Teflon Presscloth

Instructions:

First turn on your iron to its highest setting and allow it to heat up. Cut one piece of green cardstock for your card base. Cut a piece of Snowed In paper slightly smaller than your card back. Cut a strip of gold striped paper and used your paper edgers to scallop the edge. Cut into two pieces the height of your card.
Attach the Snowed In paper to your cardstock. Position your gold strips off-center with a 1/4 gap between them. Using your iron, outline the paper with Silver braid. (Tip: start in the middle of the bottom side, so all your corners have matching bevels) Outline the inside and outside edges of your gold strips. Add a second border of Burnished Gold ribbon around the outside. Fill in the rest of the space between your gold strips with thread. Use the Meadow braid to make flourishes on each side of the card. Position your stars to finish the design.
