Here is a charming design, a companion to "Heart Catcher" in the Kreinik Freebie archives. Make this easy cross-stitch project for a young boy's room, or as a shower gift for a baby. The metallic thread add to the whimsical theme.

Cross stitch this design using two strands of floss or one strand of #8 Braid following the color key. Backstitch using one strand of floss.

Design size: 115w x 105h or 8" x 7.5"

Materials needed:

• Two spools of Kreinik #8 Braid 091
• DMC floss as listed in color key
• 28-count linen or 14-count Aida in light blue color
