Scattered Hearts and Scattered Stars Gift Cards

Materials needed:

• 3” x 5” plain white index card or white cardstock (Staples)
• 3” x 2 ½” white index card or cardstock (Staples)
• Kreinik Iron-on 1/8" Ribbon in 6130 red for hearts, and 6020 Silver for stars (www.kreinik.com)
• Kreinik  Press Cloth (www.kreinik.com)
• Punches: approximately 1/4" and 1/2" star and heart punches
• Ruler
• Pencil
• Scissors
• Glue stick
• Mini iron or household iron
• Ironing surface

Instructions:

1. Turn your iron onto the highest heat setting and let it heat thoroughly.
2. Fold 3” x 5” card in half to make a gift card. On one card half, punch out random hearts or stars.
3. Place 3” x 2 1/2” cardstock inside gift card and trace inside punched-out shapes with pencil. Remove cardstock from gift card.
4. Place cardstock on ironing surface. With press cloth over threads, iron threads to cover penciled shapes. With thread side up, adhere cardstock behind punched-out shapes.
