Retro Stars Christmas

Pen Make those lists, write those cards, and sign those gift tags with colorful style, using a pen you stitched. If you love the teals, blues, and greens of 1940s, 1950s Christmas decorations, then this pen is for you. The project is quick enough to be completed while you watch your favorite vintage Christmas shows.

Materials needed:

• Search online for the PixPen Memory Pen by Cottage Mills
• Kreinik Fine #8 Braid in colors 4011V Adventure Green, 5760 Marshmallow, 421 Azalea, and 684 Aquamarine
• Tapestry #24 needle and red perforated paper (Wichelt Imports)

Instructions:

1. Stitch this design centered on your red perforated paper. All stitches are the Eyelet stitch. Follow the diagram and color key for placement.

2. When stitching is complete, unscrew the black cap on top of the pen. Slide off pocket clip, the clear cover, and the paper insert. Wrap your project around the pen, trimming edges as needed to fit. Slide clear cover over pen, slide on pocket clip, screw on black cap. Pens use standard Parker® pen refills, so your pen can be used for many years to come.
