Contemporary Cool Salt N Pepper Shakers

Spice things up with fiber-and-bead embellishments on your salt and pepper shakers. Match thread colors to you kitchen scheme, party theme, or dish set.

Materials needed:
• salt and pepper shakers
• Treasure Tape, 3/4" roll
• Kreinik holographic thread colors in 1/8" Ribbon size
• flat-backed cabochons (optional)
• Micro beadlets; we used gold Beadlets from Kreinik (also available are clear beads and silver beads)
• shallow pan or tray

Instructions:
1. Lay a strip of double-sided Treasure Tape on each shaker. Remove the red liner to expose the top sticky surface.
2. Begin decorating with thread: lay the 1/8"  Ribbon in desired pattern. See our photo for inspiration.
3. Place any flat-backed buttons or cabochons in open sticky areas.
4. Then place your shakers in a shallow pan or tray and cover all remaining sticky areas with the gold micro beads.
