Kreinik Product News!

New Remember the Ladies Kits!

We have four new cross-stitch projects in our popular Remember The Ladies™ design series. The new designs feature inspirational sayings stitched in soft and beautiful Kreinik Silk Mori—a thread that’s heirloom-quality but still easy for beginners. Kits are available as full kits with fabric included, or as thread kits where you can add your own fabric.

“Love Conquers All”, “Live Love", “Dream Big”, and “Life is a Song”

These designs reflect the hope and confidence of the human spirit. They are stitched in happy colors that appeal to different home decor styles, using thread that feels so good in your fingers. The themes make perfect gifts, ideal for graduations, weddings, and baby showers.

Protect your projects with Acid-Free Tissue Paper

Protect antique needlework or your current stitching projects with the safe-storage alternative Acid-Free Tissue Paper. We all have unframed models or pieces of embroidery from grandmothers and friends; instead of plastic bags, old pillow cases, or open-air exposure, store them now with a protective layer of acid-free tissue paper.  Packages of 6, 12, or 100 sheets (20” x 30”) are available.

acid free tissue paperWhy is it important?
Acid in normal tissue paper can transfer to textiles over time and cause them to become discolored, brittle, or tarnished. The specially made Acid-Free Tissue Paper, however, is neutral, unbuffered, and therefore the safest way to store cotton, wool, silk, metals and linen. By offering a layer of protection between the air and your piece, it also prevents oxidation of threads and real metals in embroidery. Whether you are protecting quilts, costumes, needlepoint, samplers, lace, crochet —also photographs, jewelry, and other collectibles — use the paper between layers, as padding, and surrounding your precious projects, and rest assured of their protection for years to come.
