A new thread has been "born" at Kreinik's manufacturing facility!
Introducing Kreinik Canvas #24 Braid, a metallic thread
designed for needlepointers to use on 13- and 14-mesh
canvas.
"We've
had so many requests for a metallic braid that fits 13-mesh
canvas, which is now almost as popular as 18-count canvas
for needlepointers," said Kreinik Creative Director Dena
Lenham. "We introduced this new braid size at the Needle
Arts trade show in Indianapolis on June 10, 2006," she
added.
The new
braid is thicker than Kreinik's Medium #16 Braid, but
thinner than Heavy #32 Braid, so it's also perfect for
crochet, plastic canvas, and cross stitching on very large
counts of fabric. Initially, it will be available in the
most popular metallic colors: 001 Silver, 002 Gold, 003 Red,
005 Black, 008 Green, 024 Fuchsia, 026 Amethyst, 027 Orange,
032 Pearl, 060 Midnight, 3506 Blue Samba, 202HL Aztec Gold
