The key behind the numbers

Every once in awhile, we get questions about our metallic color numbers, such as "What does the P mean in 002P?"

Take a look at our Metallic Color Reference Chart to see which colors come in which thread sizes. On the chart, you'll notice a letter following some of the color numbers. If there is no letter, that means the color falls under our ‘basic' color category.

For quick reference, here's a key to the abbreviations we use:

HL = Hi Lustre (bold, glossy appearance)
V= Vintage Thread (antiqued look)
F = Glow-in-the-dark thread
C = Cord, or Braid/Ribbon made with a Cord thread
P = Cable (a twisted metallic thread)
J = Japan thread
