Designed by: Amy Law
Skill Level: Beginner

Materials needed:

  • Blank card
  • Black & Silver paper (we used Die Cuts with a View)
  • Textured cardstock (Bazill Basics)
  • Small scraps of coordinating pink print paper (we used two patterns- pebble texture by Fibermark, Bisous P-072 Caramel Rose Stripe )
  • 4x6 sheet Treasure Tape red liner tape
  • Diamond Beadlets
  • Kreinik Tapestry #12 Braid in color 005C Black Cord
  • Punch: 1 9/16? stamp shape (McGill Craftivity) and 3/4? square (Punch
  • Bunch)
  • Pencil, scissors, glue stick

Instructions:

    1. Using the stamp punch, punch a square from your cardstock. Punch a square from the center of the stamp shape.  Cut off the top and bottom row of ‘teeth’ off your stamp, to create the center frame.  Cut two pieces of coordinating pink paper, one 1.5” x 1.25” (striped) and one 3/8” high and the same length as your card (pebble).   Cut a 2.5” x  .75” piece of black paper.
    2. Apply a square of Treasure Tape, about the same height and width of your frame, centered on the back of the frame.  Peel back the liner and center the frame over your striped paper. Use your liner to press the two pieces firmly together.  Leave the liner over the front of the frame while you apply a second piece of tape to the back of the striped paper.
    3. Apply tape to the back of your other two paper pieces.  Center the long strip of pebbled paper on your card and adhere.  Next center and adhere the black strip.  Finally, center and adhere the frame.
    4. Cut a small heart from your coordinating pink cardstock.  Peel back the liner on your frame and center the heart on the tape. Outline the heart and the inside edge of the frame opening with your black thread.
    5. Place your design into a shallow tray or in a small ziploc bag. Pour beadlets over the exposed tape areas.  Tap to remove excess beadlets.
