Personalized mini stockings

Take a purchased mini stocking from felt to fabulous by embellishing with iron-on threads. You can write your name, make designs, anything! Use these mini stockings as party favors, to hold silverware for a dining setting, or on your tree.

 


Materials used:

  • Purchased felt mini stockings (from a craft store)
  • Mini iron or household iron
  • 3" x 4" Kreinik Teflon Press Cloth
  • Kreinik 1/8" Iron-on ribbon in 6010 Pearl
  • Kreinik #16 Iron-on Braid in 6020 Silver, 6225 Gold, 6130 Red, 6350 Green

Instructions:

  1. Turn your iron onto the highest heat setting and let it heat thoroughly.
  2. Lay your iron-on thread at a starting point, cover with the Teflon press cloth, and press for several seconds with your hot iron until the thread adheres. Continue this way, working your design in sections, until complete.
