Kids Art Notebook

Your kids will love heading back to school with this adorable notebook by their side. Showing off their artwork has never been so easy! And showcasing it in all its sparkling glory has never been so easy, either! Pour a glass of lemonade and get ready to have some fun with the kids!

Materials needed:

Lime green 3-ring binder, or color of your choice
Children's artwork, 6" x 9" or smaller (can be color copy)
Two pieces of fabric to complement the colors in your artwork
Four 8" x 10" sheets of Treasure Tape
Treasure Tape dots
Diamond Beadlets
Kreinik #12 Braid in colors to match your design
Shallow pan or tray
Buttons with letters on them, spelling out "My Art"
Buttons, sequins or flat-backed cabochons as desired

Instructions:

Carefully peel the red liner off one 8" x 10" sheet of Treasure Tape. Lay one of your fabric pieces on top, smoothing out any bubbles. Remove the white backing and attach this fabric to the center of your binder.
Do the same with your next piece of fabric, except trim about 1/2" off all sides before laying it on top of the fabric already on your binder.
Cut the remaining 2 Treasure Tape sheets to be 6" x 9". Remove the red liner and lay your child's artwork on the sticky area.
Remove the white liner of another Treasure tape sheet and lay it on your child's artwork. Smooth out any bubbles. Remove the red liner to expose the sticky tape that is now on top of your child's artwork.
Begin decorating art by laying any sequins or buttons in desired places. Then decorate as desired with metallic #12 Braid. When thread decorating is complete, lay the image in a shallow pan or tray and cover all remaining sticky areas with Diamond Beadlets.
When complete, remove the white backing from the child's artwork and attach it to the center of your binder, in the center of your fabric areas already on the binder.
