Materials needed:

• Purple blank gift bag with handles (available at party stores)
• Kreinik Iron-on 1/8" Ribbon in 6400 Blue Bell
• Kreinik Iron-on #16 Braid in 6400 Blue Bell, 5600 Hydrangea, and 6300 Meadow
• Stickers of candles
• Blue cardstock cut 4 3/4" x 2 1/4"
• Lilac cardstock cut 3" x 2"
• Aqua cardstock cut 2 1/2" x 1 1/4"
• Kreinik Teflon press cloth
• Iron or mini iron
• 1-inch Treasure Tape roll

Instructions:

1. Turn your iron onto the highest heat setting and let it heat thoroughly.
2. On the blue cardstock piece, decorate the bottom by laying green iron-on braid in two rows of wavy lines. To do this, lay your iron-on thread at a starting point, cover with the Teflon press cloth, and press for several seconds with your hot iron until the thread adheres. Continue this way, working your design in sections, until complete.
3. Iron the Blue Bell #16 Braid onto the lilac cardstock in the same way.
4. Iron the Hydrangea #16 Braid onto the aqua cardstock in the same way.
5. On each of the three cardstock pieces, lay the 1/8" iron on Blue Bell ribbon around the outside edge, mitering or folding the corners as you go.
6. Using your double-sided Treasure Tape, attach the large blue cardstock piece to the front of your bag. Do the same and attach the lilac piece right on top, slightly above (refer to our photo for placement), and then finally the aqua cardstock.
7. Place your candle stickers on top of the "cake" you just made.
