Summer Wreath

Do your summer memories include searching for seashells on the beach or wearing shell necklaces? Or do you sometimes finger a little shell you keep in your pocket to remember the simple serenity of a beach and the freedom of an open ocean? Then you will love this month's wreath design. Intertwined with a stitched ribbon are various images of seashells and pearls. Escape while you stitch this design, and your mind will be relaxed and open, like you're sitting in a chair on the beach watching the sandpipers and the waves.  Cross stitch this design over two threads on 28-ct. fabric. Use two strands of Silk Mori for cross stitching, and one strand for backstitching.

Materials needed:

• Kreinik Silk Thread Collection, a box of 25 Silk Mori® 1/2 Skeins™
• 28-count linen in light natural, or your choice of color
• #24 Tapestry needle
