There's something so charming about miniatures. We're drawn to diminutive stitchery, doll-house-sized objects, toy trains… Perhaps that's why stitching on 40-count linen has become so popular. For stitching over one, petit point, fine details in Hardanger, pulled work, and more, Kreinik has developed a new thread, Silk Bella™. Here designer Lesa Steele uses four soft, Victorian colors of Bella to create a beautiful, easy ornament project.

 Stitches: Cross Stitch, Algerian Eyelet, Satin Stitch, Backstitch, Four-Sided Stitch

Materials needed:

• one reel of Kreinik Silk Bella in each: 1092, 1096, 4204, 8000

• 40-count linen in white (minimum cut 4.5” x 4.5”)

• for finishing: Pendant Pal from Tink Boord-Dill Needlework ( www.tinkbd.com ), and white cording
