The Juggler M303 Painted Canvas

Maggie Co. has lots of fun painted canvases (have you seen the ladies on the beach?) but their new canvas The Juggler caught our eye as a smaller contemporary piece perfect for silk threads. The original artwork was created by Chris Roberts-Antieau and painted by Maggie Thompson (she's has licensed many other Roberts-Antieau designs). Ask your local needlepoint shop for this fantastic canvas (it's about 7.5" x 11" in size) and print our stitch guide below, which uses some of our newest colors in Silk Mori/Serica plus metallic braid for texture (you'll love the rich colors and the look of his satin-y pants). This design would look terrific finished as a pillow for a man or woman, or a tote bag.

Materials needed

• one reel Kreinik Tapestry (#12) Braid_ in 032 pearl
• one 2.5m skein of Kreinik Silk Mori® in each: 8086, 9032, 5104, 8000, 6083, 1105, 9034
• two 2.5m skeins (or one 5m skein) of Silk Mori in each: 7134, 5105, 1119, 7012
• eight reels Kreinik Silk Serica® in 8050
• two reels Silk Serica in 1119
• one reel Silk Serica in each 5095, 2033, 3017, 2016, 2014, 6104, 6107, 4033, 5105, 4034
