Going
away this week and need a portable pattern? Just want a quickie? This
interesting little canvas design is all about color and light. Three colors of
Kreinik Vintage Threads create the Celtic-style center, while Silk Mori provides
a textural contrast. The subtle, elegant colors create a simple accessory to
wear.
Finish
this design as a pin! After
design is stitched, cut the canvas to within 1/2-inch of the design on all
sides. Turn canvas to the back, mitering the corners and securing with a neutral
sewing thread. Cover back with a fabric swatch, then sew on or glue on a pin
back.
