We asked the Thread Technique Team of Ann Caswell, Beth Robertson and Suzanne Howren (of the Stitches for Effect books) to create a stitch guide for Fancy Carole's small red angel. You'll love how the silk and metallic threads are used.

Materials needed:

• Fancy C Red Angel 1050 designed by Fancy Carole
• 4 (2.5m) skeins Kreinik Silk Mori 1117
• two (2.5m) skein Silk Mori in each: 3013, 3021, 4037, 5097, 7024
• one reel Kreinik Tapestry (#12) Braid in each: 003, 009, 033, 100, 202HL
• 2 reels Kreinik Fine (#8) Braid 100
• 1 reel Kreinik Japan #1 321J
• stretcher bars to fit canvas
