Did you see the stitch guide we created for Associated Talents' charming snowman ornament a few months ago? (If you missed it, it's in our archive section.) Well, here's a delightful companion that's quick to stitch, and works up nicely when finished as a kissing-ball-style ornament. She's a snow-lady painted canvas from Associated Talents, brought to life with Kreinik metallic threads (check out the new gemstone colors) and silk threads. This is just the project to lift your spirits as we head into autumn.
Stitching Instructions:
For tips on stitching with Silk Mori, Silk Serica, and Tapestry Braid, visit the threads pages on www.kreinik.com. Silk Serica is used straight off the reel, as a 3-ply twisted filament silk. Use three strands of Silk Mori. To open a skein of Silk Mori, remove the paper wrapping and loosen the slip knot holding the thread ends together.
