Embellishing Die Cuts Created From Punches
Create colorful, playful gift tags and place cards with all those terrific punches available today. You have two options when working with punches. You can either embellish the silhouette that remains once you punch out a shape or you can create your own embellished die cuts by decorating the punched out shape.
Minimum materials needed:
punches
cardstock
Diamond Beadlets®
Kreinik dimensional metallic threads in colors to match your theme
double-sided red liner Treasure Tape
sheets or rolls to fit your project area
Here's the simple steps:
1. Punch it - out of cardstock
2. Tape it - on top or bottom of your punched design
3. Thread it - remove the tape's red liner, and decorate sticky area with colorful threads
4. Bead it - pour on the Diamond micro beads to cover remaining sticky areas
5. Mount it - on desired object (use scraps of Treasure Tape to attach the embellished piece to a card, frame, page, etc)
Beadlets, thread and tape available from Kreinik. Check your local scrapbook, craft, or papercraft store for punches.
